Equation seek a qualified accountant to join our vibrant and fast growing accountancy firm with offices in Weymouth and Poole.

Your Duties

Your main duties will include preparing statutory annual accounts, self assessments, corporation tax returns and management accounts as well as financial reports, tax planning and assisting in the preparation of forecasts & budgets.

You will be required to run your own accounts department efficiently and effectively, as well as offering expertise, training, advice and guidance to other departments and individuals within in the firm.

High standards, excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and Sage Accounts Software skills are essential, along with a good knowledge of Sage 50, Quick books and excel.

You will need extensive experience of SME’s / small company accounts and taxation and be able to turn your mind to many different tasks during the day. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, open minded, flexible and able to follow set procedures and systems, in a results driven environment.
